Reading config from database sucks!
January 12th, 2009I'm working on a new site and I wanted an easy way to read config for a user from the database. Earlier I've stored all the config variables in the user table, but this leaves a problem when developing; adding a new parameter means that you'll have to add a new entry in the user table. Keynotes suck
January 6th, 2009Today there will be a keynote held by Apple.. I'm only concerned since I know it will be expensive for me in the long run.. I do want a new mac mini, eventhough my current one works just fine as a plex media center.. It would be nice if apple could implement audio over the mini display port so I don't have to have a toslink cable connected to my reciever for both my media center and ps3, I want to connect a cable from my tv instead..
Air Canada sucks!

This might be a "really". The stewardess on this flight is not representive for canadians; they are good looking. This is something you can't say about the women I've seen in Montreal..
Being two hours late sucks, really!
January 3rd, 2009There was some part broken (missing?) on the airplane so we had to wait for two hours before boarding. I don't really mind, I still get paid..
However it does not take the pain out of waiting, I have had two beers just hit that sleep aphex after dinner so I'm quite tired right now and I have to stay awake for some time now. The question is if I should skip sleeping all together so I wont be that tired and jet-lagged tomorrow in Montreal?
Appart from the delay the stay in Heathrow was quite ok, but it has to be said that the bacon at TGI's should not be allowed to be called bacon; bacon is thin and crisp what I got was anything but that..
Hmm, just realised that I might only be one hour late, timezones sucks! 
No enemy showed up at the gate sucks, really!

We're right now waiting for some luggage to be taken off the plane.. How can one check in and then not show up at the gate? Just plain stupid! We're 30 minutes late now, happy happy happy joy joy joy!!
But I still have two hours to kill at Heathrow..

Canada sucks, really!
January 2nd, 2009I'm on my way back to montreal.. Two more months to go, eight weeks or fifty-six days.. It's not that bad, but the per-diem has been lowered by 50 SEK.. Hopefully I'll manage..
